Services were held Monday for Lew Bramkamp of Wickenburg who died Friday at the Wickenburg Community Hospital.
Born in 1900 in Kentucky, he was educated in Chicago public schools and was a graduate of Carthage College and the University of Chicago.
A veteran of WWI, be served with the American Field Serve in India and Burma in WWII.
He was a high school teacher in Chicago and South Dakota before coming to Wickenburg in 1951 where he operated an accounting service. He and his wife also owned a book store here.
Bramkamp was a member of the Arizona legislature for four years and locally served on the Town council, was Town Magistrate and Justice of the Peace.
He was the administrator of the Wickenburg Community Hospital and served on the Board of Directors of the Chamber of Commerce, Wickenburg Country Club and the Public Library.
He is survived by his wife, Jessie, of Wickenburg, one son, two step-daughters, a granddaughter, four step grandchildren and a sister, all residing out of state.
