William Frederick Didion, born September 3rd, 1892 in Akron, Ohio was buried December 27, 1976 at Genung Memorial Cemetery in Peeples Valley.
He had been confines to the V.A. Hospital in Prescott for approximately two years then transferred to Tucson, V.A. for a short period then returned to Prescott V.A. Recently he was living with his daughter in Kingman where he died. Both daughters Dorothy and Gloria and son-in-law were with their father at his bedside.
Survivors are his wife Etta Bell Didion, one brother Harry F. Didion of Playa Del Rey, California, Barbara Carter, Bentwood, California, Gloria Morse of Kingman, Arizona and Lorraine Cors of Florida, 18 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
Didion was a Veteran of World War One and became a member of Barrocks no. 2463 was Commander and quartermaster. He was also a Life Member of the American Legion.
World War One veterans put on a catered dinner every New Years Eve and Mr. Didion gave the prayer plus making all the addresses at Military funerals. He will be sadly missed by his family and many friends. The town of Yarnell expresses their sincere sympathy to the Didion family.
