BAKER, Oscar

Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, Arizona January 1, 1981 Oscar Baker, age 82, passed away at the Wickenburg hospital Dec. 22, 1980 and was laid to rest in the Wickenburg cemetery beside his wife, Vera, who died in 1975. Oscar was a mail carrier in North Dakota for 34 years. In 1972 he came to Wickenburg and resided in the Palm Drive Trailer Court. In 1976 he married Alice Bruner who survives him in their home on Washington St. He is also survived by three sons, Willard Baker, Syracuse, N.Y.; Roland Baker, Ridgecrest, Calif. and Richard Baker, Council Bluffs, Iowa. He also has 8 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
