TRIPLETT, Bessie Myrtle

Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, Arizona January 8, 1981 Bessie Myrtle Triplett, 92, a resident in Wickenburg until 1965, died in Ojai, Ca. on Jan. 2 and was then returned to Wickenburg where she was buried. She and her husband moved to Lonesome Valley, Arizona in 1925 where they bought and operated a dairy that had once been a stagecoach stop. She crossed the desert in a Model “T” using the old plank highway, which took a week to transverse. Survivors include four children, Beulah Robertson, Ojai, Ca., Grace Hite, Newport, Oregon, Gila Jensen, Chino Valley, and Howard Triplett, Humboldt; 16 grandchildren, 45 great grandchildren, and 26 great great grandchildren.
