DUNKIN, Henry E.


Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, Arizona January 29, 1981 Henry E. Dunkin, 82, who was a linesman for the Santa Fe railroad for 32 years before retiring, died at his home. 79 Palm Lane, Wickenburg, January 23, 1981. Mr. Dunkin was born in Gravity, Iowa and came to Wickenburg in 1937. He was a charter member of the First Southern Baptist in Wickenburg and served as superintendent of the Sunday School as well as other Church offices. He was a member of Hassayampa Lodge No. 37, F. & A. M. and a Past Patron in Hassayampa Chapter 35, Order of the Eastern Star. Survivors include his wife, Angie Countiss Dunkin; a nephew Kent Morrison of Santa Ynez, Ca.; two nieces Mrs. June Liddell and Mrs. May LaCassie; and a nephew, Bob Davis, all of Columbia, Missouri; and several grand nieces and nephews. Services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, January 27 at the First Southern Baptist Church, 360 w. Yavapai St., Wickenburg, with Rev. Roy L. Muncy officiating. Masonic graveside services will be conducted at the Wickenburg Cemetery.
