Eastern Arizona Courier, Safford, AZ Wednesday, September 2, 2009 Linda Beth Adams, 57, of Central passed away Aug. 26, 2009. Linda was born April 2, 1952, to Walter Adams and Marion Sawtell in Fresno, Calif. She attended Eastern Arizona College after high school. On Oct. 1, 1971, she married the love of her life, Lonny Ross Adams, in Thatcher, and they settled in the Gila Valley, where they raised their children. Some of Linda's most cherished memories are of the adoption of their three younger children and when they were sealed in the Mesa Arizona Temple. Linda had many hobbies, including sewing, crocheting, scrapbooking, singing, reading, helping others, and most of all, she loved babysitting her grandkids. Linda is survived by her husband, Lonny Adams; her children, Lloyd (Angela) Adams, Lesley (Chris) May, Serena Campbell, Chris (Debbie) Adams and Sarah (Justin) Gojkovich; 20 grandchildren; and her sister, Glenyce Sears. She was preceded in death by her sons, Larry Cloyd Adams and Loren Walter Adams, her parents and a brother. Funeral services were held Aug. 29, and she was laid to rest in Central Cemetery. Funeral arrangements were handled by Caldwell Funeral Chapel.
