Timothy “Tim” Miller had a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and was called to his heavenly home Dec. 4, 2009. He was born Aug. 3, 1960, in Hawthorne, Calif., to Everett and Lillian Miller.
Tim attended Hawthorne High School and later attended El Camino College, while working as a machinist for Edelbrock.
His passion for motors became one of his life-long hobbies. Tim then returned to the family business of construction.
Tim married his soul mate, Cindy, and moved to Temecula, Calif., and they were blessed with two sons. In 1995, Tim moved his family to Lake Havasu City to pursue and became an accomplished contractor and property developer. There are many structures that stand proudly in our city because of Tim’s God-given talents.
Tim loved life and taught others to love life as well. He had many hobbies; among them were mechanics, riding motorcycles, off-road racing, NASCAR and camping. Tim also enjoyed boating and jet skiing on the Lake. He spent a lifetime of summers in Colorado with family hunting, working the ranch, exploring the beautiful scenic country and mining towns.
Tim is survived by his mother, Lillian Miller; his wife, Cindy; and their two sons, Timothy and Daniel Miller; sisters, Karen Miller, Sherry Di Anthony, Marla Lingo; and brother, Everett Miller.
A Celebration of Tim’s Life will be held at Calvary Baptist Church Saturday at 11 a.m. Pastor Chad Garrison and Robert Johnson will offer words of comfort and inspiration.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations in Tim’s name to Big Brothers and Big Sisters of Lake Havasu City. An account has been established at the Havasu Community Credit Union, 55 S. Lake Havasu Ave., Lake Havasu City, AZ, 86403.
