The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona ~ 08/09/2005 Norma Brimhall Tidwell, 83, of Gilbert died Aug. 4, 2005 in Mesa. The oldest daughter of 13 children of Logan and Mary Brimhall of Taylor, Arizona, she served a full-time mission for the LDS Church in the Northwestern states and later married Jack G. Tidwell of Solomonsville, Arizona. They moved to Gilbert in 1945 where they raised six children. Norma is survived by her husband, Jack; children, Greg and Judy Tidwell of Queen Creek, Brad and Amber Tidwell of Gilbert, Gill and Roseanne Tidwell of Gilbert, Luann and Jim Ewan of Chandler, Marysue and Rick Turley of Gilbert, and Melanie and Don Fillingim of Pinedale. She is also survived by 23 grandchildren and 28 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 10 at Bueler Mortuary, 14 W. Hulet Drive, Chandler, Arizona. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m., Thursday, Aug. 11 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, Gilbert/Stapley Stake Center on North Cooper Road, Gilbert. Interment will follow at the Valley of the Sun Cemetery in Chandler.
