EASTRIDGE, Jerry Don

The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona ~ 08/12/2005 Jerry Don Eastridge, 62, died Sunday, Aug. 7, 2005 in Show Low. He was born in Chandler Heights. His family moved to Phoenix when Jerry was 10 years old. When he was 17 he enlisted in the Navy and served in the Vietnam War. Following his military service he worked as a truck driver for a grocery warehouse. Jerry met Pauline Reel in 1962 & they were married in 1963, beginning a union that would span for 42 years. He then started transporting gasoline, eventually working for Unocal for 25 years, retiring in 1992. In 2000 he and his wife moved to Lakeside and enjoyed their retirement together. Jerry is survived by his wife, Pauline E. Eastridge of Lakeside; daughter, Karen (Mike) Eastridge of Saginaw, Michigan; sons, Gary Don (Rosemary) Eastridge of Lakeside, Donald Ray Eastridge (Darlinda) of Phoenix; brothers, Neal of Texas, Evlin, Ray & Gary Eastridge all of Roosevelt; sisters, Joyce Hamilton of Queen Creek, Ruth Summers and Patty George both of Phoenix; 10 Grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Private memorial services will be held. Owens Mortuary of Show Low handled the arrangements.
