CRAIN, Florence Sally

The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona ~ 08/16/2005 Florence Sally (Schade) Crain, 88, of Lakeside died Aug. 6, 2005 at her home. She was born Dec. 7, 1916 in Phoenix to Louis and Florence (Karls) Schade. She was reared and attended school in Phoenix. She went to school at Phoenix Union High School. She married Daniel Kleen in Phoenix. He preceded her in death in 1961. She married Calvin Crain in 1962 in Scottsdale. She had lived in Scottsdale for 60 years, coming to Lakeside this year. She was a lifelong homemaker, and was active in scouts when her children were growing up. She was a member of the Church of God in Tempe. She is survived by her daughters Madelynne French (Phil) of Florida, Joyce Sinclair (Buck) of Lakeside; sons David Kleen of Gilbert, Daniel Kleen (Jane) of Queen Creek and Charlie Kleen (Bonnie) of Mesa; nine grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren; and five great-great grandchildren. Her sister Ruth Schade, brothers, Fred Schade, Lewis Schade and George Schade preceded her in death. Grave side services will be held at Green Acres Cemetery in Scottsdale at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 10. Arrangements were handled by Black's Mortuary of Show Low.
