Deloris “Dee” Cahill (Amendt) passed away June 6, 2010 at her home due to heart failure; she was 46 years old. Her passing was unexpected.
All who got to know her loved Dee; she was a very kind and caring person. Dee was always helping others even when she was hurting herself. Her husband Tom “C.C.” Cahill said that he has not only lost his beloved wife but also his very best friend.
Dee’s great love, after her husband, was riding her motorcycle, which she did as often as her body would let her. She started on a 250cc Honda “Rebel” and progressed to a Harley Davidson “Bagger”, which some thought was too big for her, but she handled it better than a lot of men with whom she rode.
Dee will be greatly missed by not only her husband, but also by all of her friends both in Lake Havasu City and in San Diego, where she and her husband relocated from six years ago.
A celebration of Dee’s life will be held at 10 a.m. June 19 at the American Legion Post 81, 181 Paseo Del Sol, Lake Havasu City.
