Louis Wilbur Lemmer, born September 3, 1921, in Sublette, Illinois, to Arthur and LuLu (Sieling) Lemmer, passed away March 29, 2007.
Louis married Genevieve Minor Ames on November 19, 1963, in Rock Island, Iowa. He farmed in Illinois and moved to Prescott Valley, Arizona in, 1972. He retired from the Arizona Pioneers' Home in 1995 and settled in Paulden, Arizona.

Louis Lemmer, born Sept. 3, 1921, in Sublette, Illinois to Arthur and Lulu (Sieling) Lemmer, passed away on March 29, 2007.
He married Genevieve Minor Ames on November 19, 1963, in Rock Island, Illinois.
Louis, a farmer in Illinois, moved to Prescott Valley in 1972. He retired from the Arizona Pioneer Home in 1995 and settled in Paulden, Ariz.
He was a veteran of WW II, serving his country in Germany, France and Holland.
His greatest joy in life besides his family was fishing and hunting with his brother Phill Brooks and his sons.
Louis is survived by his wife, Genevive; son Charles (Paula) Lemmer of Paulden, Ariz.; daughters, Melissa (Tim) Colins of Prescott Valley, Az., Roxan (Ronald) Gregory, of Lebanon, Missouri; son, John Ames of Depue, Illinois; three granddaughters; four grandsons; one great-grandaughter; one great-grandson; sisters, Ann (Don) Wells, of Amboy, Ill., and Florence Virgin, of Peru, Ill.; brothers, Donald (Dorothy) Lemmer, of Sublette, Ill., and Norman (Sharon) Lemmer, of Mendota, Illinois.
