ELERICK, Elsie May

Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, Arizona July 30, 1981 Elsie May Elerick died at Yavapai community Hospital in Prescott on Tuesday, July 21 at the age of 103. Born in Stump Town, Iowa (now know as Selma, Iowa), on January 9, 1878, she moved to Arizona 57 years ago, living in congress for the past 10 years. A housewife, who was a former member of the Methodist Church in Iowa and Oklahoma and a former member of the V.F.W. Auxiliary in Phoenix. She is survived by 3 daughter, Mona Elerick, Helen Perry and Bertha Sperger, all of Congress; a sister, Ruth Cremer of Pleasantville, Iowa; one granddaughter, six great grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Graveside services were held at the Wickenburg Cemetery at 10 a.m. Saturday, July 25. Memory Chapel made the arrangements.
