The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona ~ 8/23/2005 Emma Shelley Blair Precious little "Emma Bear" died Wednesday, Aug. 17, 2005 after what was thought to be a successful third open heart surgery. Emma was born June 5, 2004 in Queen Creek and has been a bright light in her home and in the lives to all who knew her. How do you describe a sunbeam or a moonbeam or a breath of fresh air? They described little "Em." She left behind her oxygen tanks, breathing machines and feeding tubes; but her beautiful eyes and courageous smile will forever remain in the hearts of her devoted parents, Rusty and Shelley Blair, adoring grandparents Rick and April Blair, Bill and Donna Flake, and many loving aunts, uncles and cousins. A viewing will be held at the Allen Funeral Home, 1130 S. Horne in Mesa, Tuesday, Aug. 23 from 6-8 p.m. Funeral services will be held in Emma's honor Wednesday, Aug. 24 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Chapel at 940 E. Southern at 11 a.m.
