Heritage Funeral Chapel Peoria, Arizona William E. Wilcox, born November 29th, 1937, in Chester, MA, passed away at his home in Glendale, AZ from cancer on June 8. He served in the United States Navy for 23 years, and retired as a Master Chief. William also served in Vietnam, and was very proud of his country. After retiring from the Navy he worked in the oil business for 17 years. He leaves behind his wife and best friend Mary (Salvo) Wilcox of Glendale, AZ, his son Del (April) Wilcox of Peoria ,AZ, and his daughter Ginamarie (Scott) Smith of Graham, WA. He is the beloved grandfather of Danielle, Anthony, Claudia, Scottie and Hunter. He is also survived by this brother Roy (Rita) Wilcox and sisters Betty Crippen and Marion (Cliff) Freese. William will also be missed by many nieces and nephews who love him dearly. Services will be held on Saturday, June 12, 2010 at 11:00 AM at the Heritage Funeral Chapel, 6830 W. Thunderbird Rd., Peoria, AZ. Burial with full honors will be on Wednesday, June 16th at 12 noon at Gerald B. H. Solomon, Saratoga National Cemetery, 200 Duell Road, Schuylerville, N.Y.
