COLLINS, James Obert

The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona ~ 08/26/2005 James Obert Collins, 83, died Aug. 23, 2005 at his home in Show Low. He was born Feb. 1, 1922 in Detroit, Michigan to Joseph and Amelia (Obert) Collins, and raised in Austria. He spent several years in concentration camps. He returned to the US after the war and lived in New York and Massachusetts where he worked as a landscaper. He came to Pinetop 15 years ago. He is survived by his family Sean and Patricia Perman of Show Low, Pete, Pam, Patrice and Paul Ulibarri of Show Low; and great grandson John Charles. No services are planned at this time. Arrangements were handled by Black's Mortuary in Show Low.
