Today's News-Herald, Lake Havasu City, Arizona Published Monday, November 30, 2009 Charles “Charlie” Michael Biancone, 59, passed away Monday, Nov. 23, 2009 at Havasu Regional Medical Center in Lake Havasu City. He was born on Dec. 3, 1949, in Portland, Ore., to John and Barbara J. (Stipe) Biancone. Charlie moved to Lake Havasu City four years ago from Portland, Ore. For years, having a home in Lake Havasu City was a dream that he was able to achieve with his wife, Melissa. They loved sharing this amazing place with their family and friends, cruising the lake. Charlie owned and operated his own jewelry store in Washington and proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corps. He was also a member of the V.F.W. Post 9401. Charlie is survived by his loving wife, Melissa Anne Biancone; son, Jon Michael Engelgau of Portland, Ore.; daughters, Tamara Biancone and Tory Engelgau both of Portland, Ore.; brother, Thomas Biancone of Portland, Ore.; and nine grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his sister, Deborah Biancone, parents, and grandparents, Vincencia and Amedeo Biancone and Charles and Veta Stipe, all of Portland, Ore.
