Jurrine ‘Jeanne’ Rai Ayers 

Jurrine "Jeanne" Ayers, age 62, died Monday, May 3, 2010, in Kingman at the home of her nephew, Tony Klafter, where she was surrounded by family. Jeanne lost her 14-year fight with cancer during her one-and-a-half-year stay with her sister and nephew in Kingman.

She was born Dec. 29, 1947, in Waterloo, Iowa. Jeanne was a retired hairdresser and had worked in the Fort Mohave area for 30 years.

Jeanne is survived by her son, Derek Ayers of Bullhead City; two grandsons, Brenden and Bryce of Las Vegas; nephew, Anthony Klafter of Kingman; four sisters, Shirley Klafter of Kingman, Maxine Randolph of Seabeck, Wash., Pamela Sheehan of Boise, Idaho, and Patricia Sullivan of Bullhead City; and many nephews and nieces.

Services are yet to be arranged.
