The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona ~ 06/15/2010 Douglas Joe Antonio (also known as DJ) of Whiteriver entered into rest June 9, 2010, at the Indian Health Service Hospital in Whiteriver. He was born Feb. 25, 1998, in Whiteriver. Douglas is survived by his parents Garrett Antonio and Charity Declay; brothers Latrell Antonio; sisters Hope Bones, Cadence Antonio, Jaden Antonio, Janelle Meade; paternal grandparents Bruce and Elena Antonio; maternal grandparents Cheryl Bones and Dennis Massey Jr.; aunties Charlie Harvey, Joyce Kessay; uncles Tio Harvey, Mark Antonio, Don Antonio, Dean Antonio, Markie Antonio; Godparents: Charlie Harvey and Tio Harvey; God-brothers Jerome Foster, Jacob Nosie; many relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his mother Martha Rae Bones; grandmother Dorothy Antonio; great grandmother Margaret Bones and cousins: Loterio Antonio Sr. and Marcie Antonio. A two-night wake will be held at his residence (5102 Sunflower Ave) in Canyon Day starting at 10 a.m. Tuesday, June 15. Funeral services will be held Thursday, June 17, at 10 a.m. at the Canyon Day Miracle Church with Pastor Reno Johnson Sr. officiating. Interment will be at the Canyon Day Cemetery. Silver Creek Chapel Mortuary of Whiteriver handled arrangements.
