HARGRAVE, James Alan

The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona ~ 06/15/2010 James Alan Hargrave died May 31, 2010, peacefully surrounded by his family in Sun City. He was born July 2, 1941, in Sweetwater, Texas. Former resident of St.Johns and Concho Valley, James was raised in Douglas. He served four years in the US Army from 1961-65, worked for SRP Coronado Generating station 10 years as a journeyman sheetmetal insulator. He married Sharon Bond Aug. 21, 1964. He loved to hunt and fish in the White Mountains. He later married Patricia (Pat) Violette May 26, 1995 and enjoyed 15 years of laughs and devotion to each other. He is survived by his loving wife Patricia Hargrave; son James B. Hargrave (Wendy) San Tan Valley; daughter Kayleen Hagedorn (Phil) of Pinetop-Lakeside; step-daughter Linda Smith (Gene); grandchildren Joseph Lee, Joshua and Shaylee Heap, Adam, Hannah, Aaron and Rebekah Hargrave. He was preceded in death by his father Cecil James Hargrave, mother Ila Ruth Hargrave and brother Robert C. Hargrave No arrangements are planned at Jim's request
