The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona ~ 08/19/2005 Donald Wayne Woodward, 41, died in Show Low. He was born in California and raised in Arizona. Donald took pride in his work. He was well like by those whom he worked with. Donald had desires to become a great fisherman. He also loved to BBQ and had several magazines and books on how to grill. Donald enjoyed picking flower seeds to take home and watch grow. Those who knew him will miss his laugh. Donald is survived by his wife, Vicky of Clay Springs; son, Damien Woodward; father, Donald S. Woodward of Show Low; brother David Woodward of Show Low; uncle Lloyd Woodward of Show Low; grandmother, Arvilla Woodward of Show Low. He was preceded in death by his mother, Marion Woodward. A time of gathering will be held at 7 p.m. Monday, Aug. 22, 2005 at Owens Mortuary in Show Low. He was born in San Diego, California, but lived most of his life in Show Low and the surrounding White Mountain area. He enjoyed working in St. Johns at the power plant and thought highly of his co-workers. His favorite past times were hiking and fishing. Donnie loved his collections ranging from Eagles to Jack Daniels and Harley Davidson memorabilia. He had a thirst for knowledge always reading"self help" and "how to" books and was always willing to learn about new things. He enjoyed people and would lend a helping hand to anyone in need. Donnie leaves behind two sons, Damien from San Diego, Calif. and Christopher from Phoenix; father Donald; brothers David and Dustin; and sister Stephanie; grandmother Arvilla; and Uncle Lloyd. Donald was preceded in death by his mother, Marion. May they rest in peace.
