VASKO, Nevada Mae

The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona ~ 09/09/2005 Nevada Mae Vasko, 78, died Sept. 3, 2005, in Lakeside. Mrs. Vasko was born and raised in Pennsylvania. In 1960 she came to Arizona and lived for years in Phoenix where she worked for Motorola and Honeywell. She moved to Overgaard in 1992. She was a great wife and mother. She enjoyed home crafts, especially knitting; she also enjoyed playing cards and playing golf. Mrs. Vasko is survived by two sons, Eugene R. "Butch" Vasko II of Phoenix and Gary Vasko of Overgaard; one sister, Sally Beardman of Ohio; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, Sept. 12, at the Overgaard Baptist Church with Rev. Rick Butterworth officiating. Owens Mortuary of Show Low handled arrangements.
