BEECROFT, Robert Pulliam

The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona ~ 09/09/2005 Robert Pulliam Beecroft, 63, died Sept. 1, 2005 in Heber. Robert was born in Colonial Garcia, Mexico, and came to Arizona in 1945. He married Marcelina Oviedo April 22, 1966 in Bisbee. A life long logger, he has lived in Heber for 50 years. He is an avid fisherman, hunter and woodcarver. Robert is survived by two daughters, Jolanda (Kenny) Stewart and Virginia (Donovan) Coburn; three sons, Dicky (Cindee) Beecroft, Jay (Andrea) Beecroft and Rich (Jennifer) Beecroft; his mother, Anna Beecroft (84 years of age); one brother, Lee (May) Beecroft; one sister, Leslie (Mike) Carroll; and 15 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a brother, Richard in 1971 and his father, Leslie Beecroft in 1995. Funeral services were held Wednesday, Sept. 7 at the Heber 1st Ward Chapel of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints with a viewing one hour prior. Interment will be in the Heber Cemetery.
