The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona ~ 09/16/2005 Grace McGimsey, 92, died Sept. 8, 2005 at Bannon Springs Assisted Living in Vernon. She was born Aug. 21, 1913 in Montgomery, Iowa to Emil and Ellen (Bodine) Bredberg. She was raised and went to school in Iowa. She lived in Red Oaks, Iowa. She is the last in her family. Three sets of twins preceded her in death and four sisters and two brothers. She was a member of the White Mountain Women's Club for 30 years. She is survived by her nieces and nephews in Iowa; two sisters-in-law Carolyn Mills of Casa Grande and Helen Bredberg of Iowa; niece and nephew Shirley and Ron Peoples of Parkersburg, Iowa; family and friends in Red Oak and Des Moines, Iowa; Pat and Cory Kroll of Payson; numerous friends who were adopted family in the White Mountains. She was preceded in death by her husband Virgin on Nov. 6, 1998. No services are planned at this time. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in her name to RTA Hospice, 1789 W.
