The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona ~ 09/23/2005 Preston Danford went home to be with the Lord Sept. 20, 2005 in Whiteriver. He was born June 9, 1956 in Whiteriver. He will be dearly missed by all. Preston is survived by his mother Cecelia D. Hopper; sister Sharon Mae Danford; brother Dewayne Keith Danford; nieces Sharrita Marie Suttle, Shanea Suttle, Priscilla Sue Altaha; step-sisters Cheryl L. Comanche, Miranda L. Cheney, Darlene L. Hudson, Ursula L. Montana, Lorinda L. Declay; step-brothers Ramsey Larzelere, Ryan Larzelere Jr., Kimo Larzelere; and many other relatives and friends. A wake will start at 10 a.m. Friday, Sept. 23 at Cecelia D. Hopper's residence in Canyon Day. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 25 at the Lighthouse Church in Canyon Day. Interment will be at the R-14 Crossing Cemetery Cedar Creek. Silver Creek Chapel Mortuary of Whiteriver handled the arrangements.
