Deryl Matthew Wallace, 91, died Monday, Sept. 26, 2005 at his home in Casa Grande.
Deryl was born Nov. 2, 1913 in Enid, Okla. He was self employed, served his country in WWII as a merchant marine, was a member of the Masonic Lodge in Coolidge, Zaribah Shrine in Phoenix, Charter member of Casa Grande Elks Club, Deputy Sheriff Pinal County Sheriff's Department Postmaster at 11 mile corner, Pinal County fairgrounds manager and also state fairground commissioner.
He is survived by his sons, Ron Wallace of Casa Grande and William Wallace of Tucson, and Barry Wallace of Chandler; brother Don Wallace of Belle, Mo., six grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife Loretta Wallace of 65 years, brother Mack Wallace, sister Hannah Hileman and his parents Frank and Etna Wallace.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 1 at Cole and Maud The Gardens Chapel in Casa Grande with Pastor Jeff Jackson officiating. Memorials can be made to the Christian Church of Casa Grande.
