Today's News-Herald, Lake Havasu City, Arizona Published Thursday, November 5, 2009 Sept. 5, 1924 – Oct. 26, 2009 Clara B. Koglin was born in Huron City, Mich., and lived in Lake Havasu City for nine years. Clara, who celebrated life with her family, friends and church family, left us Oct. 26, 2009. She will be greatly missed by all whose life she touched. Clara leaves behind her loving husband, Frank; sons, Delford (Nancy), Larry (Karen), Jeffrey (Diane); grandchildren, Cynthia Ahlgrim, Dion Koglin, Chad Koglin, Emmy Koglin, Melissa Marsh, Ryan Koglin; and five great-grandchildren. Also sisters, Iva Maynard, Eleanor Nowiski, Mary Oderfer, Ann Schrubering; and brothers, Charles Thrushman, Barney Thrushman and Leland Thrushman. Clara was a member of the Elkettes and Lamb of God Lutheran Church in Lake Havasu City, LWMI, Board of Finance and choir. She also was an avid card player and golfer. Visitation will be 10-11 a.m. Nov. 9, and a memorial service will follow at 11 a.m. at Lamb of God Lutheran Church, 2792 Inca Drive, Lake Havasu City. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations made to the church in Clara’s memory.
