MITCHELL, Glenn (Dale)


The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona ~ 10/14/2005 Glenn "Dale" Mitchell of Holbrook, 61, died Monday, October 10, 2005 in Winslow. He was born in Muskogee, Oklahoma. Dale served in the United States Army during the Vietnam Era. He owned Dale's Auto Body in Holbrook for many years, and also worked as a Surveyor for the State of Arizona. He was a member of the Navajo County Sheriff's Possee, the American Legion Holbrook Post No. 37 and a member of the Morning Coffee Club in Holbrook. Dale enjoyed working with horses. Dale is survived by his sons, Jim (Julia) Mitchell of Snowflake, Allen Mitchell of Mesa and Scott (Carrie) Ross of Delta, Utah; daughters, Glenda Mitchell of Prescott Valley, Tonia (Alvaro, Jr.) Tamayo of Snowflake and Loretta Mitchell of Winslow; 10 grandchildren, Ty, Trey, Sheldon, MaKayla, Tyler, Desirae, Shianne, Shelby, Victor and Sasha; his mother, Hazel Mitchell of Holbrook; two brothers, Mike (Cora) Mitchell of Snowflake and Wendell (Kathy) Mitchell of Holbrook. Memorial Services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 15, at the Holbrook Stake Center of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Interment will be in the Holbrook Cemetery.
