The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona ~ 10/21/2005 Suzan Gail Wilson, 50, died at her home in Sun Valley Thursday, Oct. 13, 2005. She was born in Globe. Her parents moved to Show Low and then to Holbrook where Suzan attended school, graduating from Holbrook High School in 1973. Following school she worked briefly as a waitress before moving to Portland, Oregon. She met and later married Kent A. Wilson Dec. 31, 1974 in Vancouver, Wash. They made their home in Portland. In 2001 they moved to Tucson and then to Sun Valley this year. Suzan loved animals and had many cats and dogs. Suzan is survived by her husband, Kent A. Wilson of Sun Valley; mother and step father, Jessie and Eugene Harper of Sun Valley; brother, Tony A. Block of Mesa and sisters, Sandra Carney of Glendale and Pamela Lang of Tucson; three nieces and one nephew and various other relatives. She was preceded in death by her father, Robert Block in 2001 and her sister Kay Lynn Lawhorn in 1997. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, Oct. 21 at Owens Mortuary Chapel in Holbrook with visitation one hour prior to the service. Owens Mortuary of Holbrook handled the arrangements.
