HALE, Vernal (Sonny), Jr.

The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona ~ 11/08/2005 Vernal "Sonny" Hale, Jr. died Nov. 1, 2005 in Mesa. Sonny was born to Rue and Carol Hale on Mar. 6, 1953 in Springerville. He attended school at Round Valley and graduated in 1971. He married Lori Walters July 14, 1981. He operated Rue Hales Sand and Rock for many years. Sonny enjoyed hunting, fishing and going for drives in the mountains. His survivors include his wife, Lorie Hale, Springerville; daughter Stacy Hale, Springerville; parents, Rue and Carol Hale, Springerville; brothers, Robby Hale, Kingman, and Chuck Hale, Mesa; and sister, Kim Hale, Mesa. Services were held at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Springerville Ward Saturday, Nov. 5 at 10 a.m. Burnham Mortuary, Eagar handled the arrangements.
