Raymond Grady Harris, Jr., 58, died Tuesday, Nov. 8, 2005 in Pinetop.
He was an 11-year Veteran of the U.S. Air Force. Raymond worked for local cable company for many years; he also worked for Riotech building and designing machines used to make computer chips. He was very involved in genealogy and he also enjoyed fixing up classic cars. Being from the south, Raymond also was an avid football fan.
Raymond is survived by his wife, Boonlert "Boonie", "Lud" Harris of Pinetop; daughters, Linda (Jeff) Wheeler of Gilbert, and Kelly (Robert) Harrismith of Pinetop; grandchildren, Meghan Wheeler and Michael Smith; his mother, Estelle (Cecil) Tharp of Yazoo City, MS; five sisters, Joyce (Pete) Johnson of Vicksberg, MS, Carol "Teeny" (Arthur) Smith of Helena, Ark., Linda (Ron) Hall of Wasilla, Ala., Annette (Mike) McGraw of Bentonia, MS and E. Lucille Britton of Redwood, MS; three step-sisters, Sue (Ronald) Kimble of Carthage, MS, Jane (Edward) Howell of Greensboro, N.C., Barbara (Lenny) Bonnell of Batesville, MS.
Graveside services were held at 11 a.m. Monday, Nov. 14 at Southside Cemetery in Inverness, Mississippi, with a viewing Sunday, Nov. 13 at Stricklin-King Funeral Home in Yazoo City, Mississippi.
