SCHIPPER, Thomas Lee

The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona ~ 11/18/2005 Thomas Lee Schipper, 31, died Nov. 14, 2005 in Mesa. He was born March 20, 1974 in Gallup, New Mexico to Kent and Marti (Wilson) Schipper, and he was raised in Show Low. He was a member of the Boys Scouts in Pinetop as a youth. He graduated from Show Low High School in 1982. He entered the Navy in 1993. After the Navy, he lived in the Phoenix area and worked for Fortis Insurance and later for the University of Phoenix as a customer service specialist. He was a member of the Naval Reserve. He enjoyed sports, outdoors and being with friends. He is survived by his parents Kent and Marti Schipper of Show Low; one brother Todd Lane (Besty) of Xiksen, South Korea. A memorial service with military honors performed by the VFW Post No. 9907 will be held Monday, Nov. 21 at 4 p.m. at the White Mountain United Methodist Church with Pastor Bob Cutlipp officiating.
