GARCIA, Dannie Delcina

Lamont Mortuary, Globe, Arizona DANNIE DELCINA (WILBANKS) GARCIA, age 67, of Globe, passed away Tuesday June 15, 2010 at her residence. Born to Melvin and Frankie Wilbanks in Globe, she grew up in the area and graduated from Globe High School in 1960. As a youngster, she played baseball which was almost unheard of back then for a girl. Later she owned and operated Dannies' Tax Service in Globe for 35 years. She loved her cats, reading, The "N.C.I.S." television show, and spending time with her friends and family. She was also known for her incredible memory. Her family said she never knew a stranger and would help anyone. She is survived by her husband: Eddie , daughters: Staci Garcia, Nikki Garcia-Hernandez, sisters: Teri Joy(Calvin), Deborah North, all of Globe, Granddaughter: Rayna Garcia, Grandson: Joseph Hernandez, Niece: LaVern North, and Nephew: Carl North. Funeral Services will be held Friday, June 18, 2010 at 3:00 PM at the Dream Manor Inn, #1 Dream Mamor Drive in Globe. Interment will follow in Globe Cemetery, Hackney Ave., Globe. A reception will follow at the American Legion Hall on Broad St. in Globe.
