Bonnie Jean Brune, 62, died Saturday, Nov. 19, 2005 at the RTA Hospice and Palliative Care Center in Lakeside.
She grew up and attended school in Everett, Washington. Following school she attended college in Washington and later received her Bachelors and Masters Degree from the University of Maryland. Bonnie then moved to Indiana and continued her education at the University of Indiana receiving an Educational Specialist Degree in Library Sciences.
Following college she moved to Klamath Falls, Oregon where she worked as a Librarian for the Public Schools. Later Bonnie moved to Arizona and worked for the Public Schools in Globe before retiring to Pinetop. She was a volunteer at the Grand Canyon and did a life history re-enactment of Emma Lee at Lee's Ferry.
Bonnie is survived by her son, Michael L. Smith-Stoe of Seattle, Washington; her mother, Harriett East of Everett, Washington and two grandchildren, Suzanne Jean Smith-Stoe and Zach James Smith-Stoe both of Seattle, Washington.
Memorial Services will be held at a later date.
