REYNOLDS, Alvin Braymon (Hooch)


The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona ~ 12/16/2005 Alvin Braymon "Hooch" Reynolds Alvin Reynolds, known to many as "Hooch," died at the Friendship House in Eagar Dec. 13, 2005, after a lengthy illness. He was born July 8 1921, in Luna, N.M., but lived most of his life in the Round Valley Area. He was a logger and truck driver for most of his life. He served in the United States Army from 1941 to 1945. His survivors include step-children Charlene Cherry of Eagar, LeRoy (Dena) Walker of Safford, Raymond Walker of Eagar, Verlyn Dean (Abby) Walker of Eagar and Danny Maxwell of Lakeside; a sister, Adell (Hews) Wiltbank of Eagar; and a brother, Leon (Patsy) Reynolds of Duncan. Preceding him in death were his wife, Lottie Reynolds; step-sons Glen and Jesse Walker; parents George and Ethel Reynolds; three brothers Walter, Loyal and Leo; and three sisters Ethel, Georgette and Cora Fay. Graveside services will be Friday, Dec. 16 at 11 a.m. at the Eagar Cemetery. Visitation/viewing will be one hour prior to services at Burnham Mortuary Chapel, 535 N Main St., Eagar. Burnham Mortuary, Eagar handled the arrangements.
