Augusta "Little Betty" Gillis, 91, died at her home in St. Johns, Dec. 18, 2005. 
      
She was born Feb. 11, 1914 at Albany, N.Y. and had lived in Arizona for the past 31 years. She loved to read, and she enjoyed big band music, especially Lawrence Welk. She liked people and had a wonderful loving, caring heart that carried over into her job as a nurses aid.
      
Her survivors include her daughter, Betty J. French, Iowa; siblings Cheryl Lynn (William) Greer, Arizona City; Charles (Vicki) Lockskin, Iowa; Elizabeth Ann (Roland) Roach, Kingman; grandchildren Thomas E. (Alta) Lockskin, St. Johns; and Darcy L. Langelier, New Hampshire; 16 great grandchildren and many great grandchildren.
      
Preceding her in death were son Bill Offenmuller and granddaughter Loretta Lynn Lockskin.
      
Burnham Mortuary, St. Johns handled the arrangements.
