POTTS, Nellie May

The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona ~ 12/23/2005 Nellie May Potts, 90, of Mesa, died Dec. 12, 2005. Nellie was born Sept. 9, 1915 in Detroit, Michigan. She was married to Thomas E. Potts for 69 years. She is survived by her husband Thomas, son Dave Potts, daughter Judith Higbee, grandchildren Greg, Jeff and Heidi, and her great grandchildren Jonathan, Justin, Hanna and Madison. Nellie was active in many organizations such as Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, PTA, Jobe's Daughters, Elks Doe's Lioness, Navapache Hospital Auxiliary, Lions Camp Tatiyee and many others. Nellie lived in numerous locations including Long Beach, Calif., Parker, Hawley Lake, Sky Hi Retreat in Pinetop and Mesa. Nellie will be missed dearly by her family and friends. A celebration of Nellie's life will be held late Jan. 2006 at her Mesa residence.
