The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona ~ 12/30/2005 Mrs. Lois M. (Hensley) Owens, 96, of Muncie, Indiana, died at Muncie Health Care and Rehabilitation Center Dec. 23, 2005, after an extended illness. She was born Sept. 3, 1909, in Bunker Hill, Indiana to Blaine and Maude (Lemon) George. Lois was a beautician for over 40 years in the Muncie and Show Low areas. She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Survivors include her daughter, Helen L. (Bobbie) Barker, of Muncie; two sisters, Janette (William) White, of Florida and Anna Pryor of Indianapolis, Ind.; three grandchildren, Sally (William) Weisse, Timothy (Vicky) Barker, and Gregory (Debera) Barker, all of Muncie; six great grandchildren and eleven great-great-grandchildren, along with several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husbands, Floyd Hensley and Almon D. Owens, three brothers, and one sister.
