Arline Marie Farrow, 88, died Monday, Dec. 26, 2005 in Show Low.
She was born in Garfield, Colo. in 1917. In her younger years she was a Harvey Girl in Ashfork, AZ and Blythe, Calif. Arline worked for the Laveen School District as the Secretary for 13 years. She was also a big supporter of High School and College Rodeo. Arline was a lifetime member of the White Mountain Horseman Association as well as a lifetime member of the L.E.R.A. (Law Enforcement Riding Association). She won many buckles for Ribbon Roping and Calf Pantsing. From 1986-1987 she was the L.E.R.A. Reigning Queen.
Arline is survived by her daughter, Judith (Clovis) Sturgeon of Taylor; daughter in law, Barbara Sumner of Roque River, Ore.; three grandchildren, Virginia (David) White of Taylor, Bill Sturgeon of Taylor and James (Ramona) Sturgeon of Cliff, N.M.; six great-grandchildren, Ty White of Mesa, Joseph White of North Fork, Virg., Shawn White of Taylor, Brandon Sturgeon of Phoenix, Ryan Sturgeon of Taylor, Katie Sturgeon of Phoenix; one great-great-grandson, Wyatt Reed Sturgeon of Cliff, N.M.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Bill Farrow, in 1989, her son, Thomas Sumner in 1994 and three brothers, John, Lonnie and Lawrence Fergus.
Private services were held.
