Charles Ray Whitmer, 73, of Phoenix died Dec. 30, 2005. 

Funeral services will be held Friday at 11 a.m. at the Black Canyon Ward, 8602 N. 31st Ave. in Phoenix. Burial will be at the National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona.
