BROOKS, Victoria (Vicki) Jeanne

The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona ~ 01/10/2006 Victoria "Vicki" Jeanne Brooks, 62, died at her home in Eagar, Jan. 4, 2006. She was born April 4, 1943 In Gibson City, Ill. Vicki was a great mother and a wonderful wife and grandmother. She was kind-hearted and people were drawn to her by her warm nature. She had many friends and was always in service to others. She was an artist. Vicki was fond of animals and enjoyed flowers and plants. She was employed with the White Mountain Communities Hospital as a housekeeper for many years. Her survivors include her husband Karl W. Brooks, Eagar; sons Barry (Coral) Nelson, Eagar, Chris Nelson, Chino, Calif. and Karl Wayne Brooks; brother Wayne Kuykendal; sisters Marcia Flannery and Kim Kilgore; her mother Rogene Fasking; six grandchildren and one great grandson. She was preceded in death by her father, Walter Fasking, and brother Steve Kuykendal. Funeral services will be Saturday, Jan. 14 at 10 a.m. at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Amity Ward Building. Visitation will be at Burnham Mortuary, 535 N. Main St. in Eagar, Friday, Jan. 13 from 6-8 p.m. Burnham Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.
