HARRIS, Ronald Vere (Ron)

The Daily Courier, Prescott, Arizona Friday June 4, 2010 Ronald Vere Harris, 57, son of Bill and Maxine Harris, passed away June 1, 2010, peacefully at home in Prescott Valley, Ariz., after a long fight with cancer. He was born in Las Cruces, N.M., on Oct. 27, 1952. Ron is survived by his mother, Maxine Harris; brother Mitchell and Tina Harris; and sister Shawna and Bryan Jensen, all of Prescott Valley. Also many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and -nephews and many cousins, all of Prescott Valley and Kingman. He was preceded in death by his father Bill Harris, an uncle and aunts. Ron did many great duties such as serving in the United States Army. He lived most of his life in Arizona. He took pleasure in roping, riding and breaking horses. He loved spending time with family and friends. Ron was kind-hearted and was always there to help others. He will be greatly missed and remembered by those who knew and loved him. A celebration of life will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, June 12, 2010, at the family home, 4620 Glenrosa. All friends and family are welcome to help us celebrate the life of Ron Harris.
