Sharron Alberta Hagstedt
Sharron Hagstedt, 64, a longtime resident of the Prescott, Ariz., area, died Wednesday, May 19, 2010, at her home in Dewey.
A service will be Friday at Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Prescott for family and close friends.
Mrs. Hagstedt was born April 10, 1946, in Casa Grande, Ariz., to Albert and Marie Dees.
She graduated from Prescott High School in 1963. She married Paul Eric Hagstedt on Dec. 31, 1983, in Las Vegas, Nev.
Sharron owned and operated Southwestern Hagstedt Insurance Agency (SWHIA) in Phoenix and the Prescott area for more than 20 years until retiring in January of this year. In recent years, she enjoyed camping and cruises in the Caribbean with her husband and children.
She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Shawn Patrick and David Marshall; son Cody Patrick; grandchildren Channel, Justin and Tyler; brother Dale Dees; and sisters Geraldine Beasley and Mary Green, all of whom live in Arizona, and have brought great joy to her later years.
Sharron was preceded in death by her husband, Paul, and siblings Merle, Clarence, Odel, Rodel, Arthur, Jerry1, Jerry2, Frankie and Helen.
Memorial gifts may be made to the Yavapai County Humane Society.
Arizona Ruffner Wakelin Funeral Home assisted the family with final arrangements.
