LOOMIS, Leone Verna

Daily Courier, Prescott, Arizona Tuesday, July 29, 2008 Leone Verna Loomis March 17, 1939 – July 24, 2008 Leone Verna Loomis, 69, of Mayer, Ariz., lost her battle with cancer Thursday, July 24, 2008. She is survived by her beloved husband, Arthur (Art); children, Michael, Dean and Monica; and 17 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Leone was known for her skills as a craftsperson and her strength of character. She was always ready to go, whether it was to get involved in her community, a new project or a trip across the States. She enjoyed working with her hands, spending time with friends and family as well as the outdoors. Leone will be missed by her many loved ones who invite you to attend memorial services at 11 a.m. Monday, Aug. 11, 2008, at Spring Valley Community Church. A potluck will follow the services.
