Statesville (NC) Record and Landmark Thursday, June 20, 1974, p 4A Funeral services for Mrs Martha Caroline Creedmore, 89, who died Tuesday at her home in Valparaiso, Fla, will be conducted Friday at 11am at First Baptist Church, with Rev J C Huneycutt, Jr, officiating. Burial will follow in Oakwood Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Norris Fox, Nelson Fox, Talley Fox, James Creedmore, Raymond Creedmore and Ralph Creedmore. Mrs Creedmore was a native of Alexander County, and made her home in Valparaiso with her son, Lincoln H Hayes, who survives. She is also survived by two grandchildren and three great grandchildren. She was married to Columbus (Lum) M Creedmore, who died a number of years ago. The family will assemble at the home of Mrs Eula Nabors, 1126 Caldwell St, but will receive friends at Johnson Funeral Home from 7:30 to 8:30pm today.
