Linda Marie Watson was born on Aug. 10, 1948 in Basin, Wyo., to Sheldon and Dorene Taylor. She was a graduate of Natrona County High School in Casper, Wyo., and Casper College and the University of Wyoming in Laramie, Wyo. She taught school for 35 years in Wyoming, Ohio and Arizona, retiring in 2007 from Oro Grande Elementary School in Lake Havasu City.
Linda loved people and a good time. She was a loyal friend to many people. Her grandchildren were her joy, and she was proud of all 14 grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband Ron and six children, Amy (Lance) Cramer and Angie (Daniel) Husted, of Lake Havasu City, Julie (John) Smith of Superior, Colo., Linda Dix, of St. Louis, Mo., Tim Hull, of Tennessee, and Jon (Michelle) Watson, of Tucson. Also surviving are her mother Dorene Davenport, of Casper, Wyo., and sisters Becky, of Casper, and Cindy, of LaSalle, Ill. Surviving grandchildren are Ryan, Kyle and Kole Cramer, Meagan, James and Jordan Husted, Finigan, Ainsley and Bailey Smith Dylan, Hayley, and Kayla Dix, and Kathleen and Beth Ann Watson.
Her family and friends were her love, and she will be missed by all. She touched many lives.
A celebration of life will take place 3:30 p.m. Friday at Lietz-Fraze Chapel. A reception will follow at the home of Lance and Amy Cramer.
