DREYER, Laura Angnes Emelia


The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona ~ 01/17/2006 Laura Angnes Emelia Dreyer Laura A. Dreyer, 90 of Lakeside, entered into rest Jan. 13, 2006. She was born Feb. 19, 1915 in Tower Minnesota. She was educated in Minnesota and during World War II, she worked in Detroit as a riveter and as an inspector for Briggs Aircraft Factory. Laura married Anthony Dreyer in Detroit, Mich. in 1941. They later relocated to Calumet, Mich., in 1957 they relocated again to San Manuel, spending their summers in the White Mountains until 2002 when Laura became a permanent resident. Laura is survived by her daughters, Beatrice (Melvin) Nieme of Calumet, Mich. and Eva, Tenn. and Toni (Joe) Russell of Pinetop; son, William Michael of Tucson; 11 grandchildren, 29 great grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her devoted husband, Anthony in May 1995; infants, Kathleen and Michael William; grandson, Lawrence Nieme and great grandson, Page Onge, Jr. Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 17, at the Shepard of the Mountain Lutheran Church in Pinetop. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made in her memory to RTA Hospice of the White Mountains, 1789 W. Commerce Dr. Lakeside, AZ 85929 (928) 368-4400.
