Diane Showell Kruger, 66, of Lakeside, died Sunday, Jan. 15, at RTA Hospice and Palliative Care.
Diane was born Nov. 29, 1939, in Phoenix, the daughter of Jack and Dorothy (Harris) Showell. She was raised in Phoenix and attended North High School there. She worked as a Construction Estimator for 20 years. She lived in Oregon for 15 years, coming to Pinetop three years ago. She loved gardening, yard work, collecting Beanie Babies and had collected over one million baseball cards. She enjoyed her dogs Bailey and Blossom and Millie the cat. She also enjoyed wildlife, computer games and volunteering for the White Mountain Humane Society.
Donations can be made to the White Mountain Humane Society.
She is survivors include three daughters, Francell Keene of Nevada, Kathy (Norman) Richards of Gilbert, and Julie Kinstler of Peoria; a sister, Elaine Showell of Show Low; eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Nancy Showell.
No services are planned at this time.
