TILLER, Ruby Arleine

The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona ~ 01/27/2006 Ruby Arleine Tiller, 68, died Saturday, Jan. 21, 2006 in Show Low. She was born in Yakima, Washington. Her family moved to Renton, Washington when she was young. Ruby graduated from high school there in 1956. After high school she enlisted in the Navy. During her military service she met and married Larry Tiller on May 18, 1957 in Renton. Following her military service they moved to Tacoma where she was a homemaker. They moved to St. Johns in 1978, then to Eagar in 1979, in 1984 they moved to Concho and then to Show Low in 1997. She loved to write poetry, she enjoyed needlepoint, sewing and knitting. Ruby is survived by her husband, Larry Tiller of Show Low; sons, Dwayne Tiller of Phoenix, Robert Tiller of Phoenix and David Tiller of Show Low; daughter, Cheryl Goss of Concho; brother, Ron Rumsey of Centralia, Wash., and three grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her daughter Judy Tiller in 2004. Owens Mortuary of Show Low handled the arrangements.
