GERICKE, Marjorie Alice

The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona ~ 01/27/2006 Marjorie Alice Gericke, 90, of Snowflake, died Thursday, Jan. 19, 2006. Marjorie was born Jan. 1, 1916, at Owatonna, Minnesota, the daughter of Walter and Alice (Vasicek) Johnson. She was raised and attended school at Owatonna, graduating from high school in 1933. She worked as an executive secretary for Jostens Ring Manufacturing. She lived in California for many years, moving to Lakeside in 1995. She taught piano for 15 years. Marjorie enjoyed art and painting and was an angel collector. Her survivors include two daughters, Cherie (Peter) LaBarbara of Escondido and Sue (Daniel) Hayashi of Lakeside; and two grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother. No services are planned at this time. Arrangements are under the direction of Black's Mortuary, Show Low.
